Can I use Lumy devices with my own skin care products?

Of course! This varies per device:


Raydiant:

For best results, we recommend applying our Rejuvenate Activating Serum immediately before use. The serum's ingredients help deeply hydrate the skin while simultaneously conducting microcurrent and reducing blemishes. Alternatively, you can use an oil-free serum or moisturizing cream with conductive ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and/or aloe vera.



Spotlyte:

Use Spotlyte without serum or cream. Wash and dry your face and start with clean skin. We recommend that you use a cleanser to properly cleanse your skin.

What is the delivery time?

Update! Due to the crowds and enormous demand in recent weeks, the delivery of our Raydiant Skin Care Tool has been slightly delayed. There is currently a delivery time of 3-5 working days. If your package has not arrived after this time, please contact us so we can check your shipment. Our other products are immediately available.

Will I receive a message when my order has been shipped?

You will not only receive a confirmation of your order, but also an email as soon as your package is shipped. This allows you to track the package using the track & trace code.

My package has not yet arrived, what now?

Returns

I'm not completely satisfied, what now?

What a shame that our product doesn't quite suit you. A new skin care product often takes some getting used to. We recommend that you try the product for at least 21 - 45 days.

If you discover within 60 days of trying that you are not completely satisfied with the product, please let us know via support@lumyskincare.nl. Return costs are at your own expense. We will then refund the full purchase amount to your account.

After the returned order has been received, the purchase amount (not including shipping costs) will be refunded to your account within 10 days. Provided that the products are received in good condition.

This does not apply to products that have been sealed for reasons of health protection or hygiene and of which the seal has been broken after delivery. Excluding Raydiant.

Usage

How do I use Raydiant?

Wash and dry your face and start with clean skin. We recommend that you use a cleanser to properly cleanse your skin.

Move Raydiant up and out over each area of ​​your face and neck. Repeat this for 5 minutes a day.

Activate
Hold Raydiant and apply the head to your skin. The device activates automatically upon direct contact with hydrated skin. The tool stops automatically when you remove it from your skin.

For better results we recommend using our Rejuvenate serum in combination with Raydiant.

Keep the treatment area moist and reapply if necessary.

NB! Raydiant only activates on well-hydrated skin, and will not work on dry skin.

We recommend starting with 5 minutes per day for the first few days. As your skin adjusts to Raydiant, you can slowly increase the duration and frequency of treatment for better results, up to 30 minutes per day. Always pay attention to how your skin reacts to beauty devices and reduce use if redness or irritation occurs.

Optional: use a moisturizer afterwards.

How do I use Spotlyte?

Briefly press the button until the light turns on. Then place Spotlyte on a pimple or the area to be treated. Start with blue light first, after 3 minutes the device will turn off automatically. After this you can repeat the process with red light.

How do I use Rejuvenate?

Without Raydiant:

Use the pipette to land a few drops on your face or neck. Then spread the serum in a circular motion.

In combination with Raydiant:

Use the pipette to land a few drops on the area to be treated. After this, spread the serum with Raydiant until the serum is completely absorbed. Work from top to bottom, starting at your forehead and ending with your neck.

When should I not use Raydiant?

Raydiant should not be used in the following areas:

  • Chest area
  • Larynx/Throat
  • Chest
  • Groin area
  • Eyelids
  • Under brow bone

Raydiant should not be used by:

  • People under 18 years old
  • Pregnant women
  • People with epilepsy
  • People with cancer/tumors
  • People with a pacemaker
  • People with implanted defibrillators/stimulators
  • People with electronic implanted devices

Consult a physician before using Raydiant if you have any medical concerns, a medical condition, medical conditions such as epilepsy or seizures, or recent facial surgery.

Electronic monitoring equipment, such as an ECG monitor and ECG alarms, may not function properly when using Raydiant.

Raydiant should only be used on healthy and undamaged skin. Raydiant should not be applied on or near cancerous lesions, on swollen, infected or inflamed areas or on skin rashes (e.g. phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, broken capillaries, varicose veins, etc.).

Raydiant is not designed to activate on contact with facial hair. We recommend shaving before use as hair can interfere with conductivity. The facial area under a beard or mustache cannot be treated.

Possible side effects include skin irritation or redness. For adult use only. Keep out of reach of children.

Do not use Raydiant on the chest because the use of electrical current in the chest can cause cardiac arrhythmias, which can be fatal.


Precautionary measures

Raydiant is designed for cosmetic use only and for persons in good health.

A slight tingling sensation may occur during use. Due to the stimulation of the optic nerve, there may also be a perception of flashing lights while using Raydiant. Consult a doctor if you notice this condition consistently and/or without use.

Please review the user manual before using Raydiant.

Caution is advised in patients with suspected or diagnosed heart problems.

Caution is advised in patients with suspected or diagnosed epilepsy.

Caution should be exercised when using Raydiant on areas of the skin that do not feel normal.

If you experience skin irritation or sensitivity as a result of the electrical stimulation or the electrically conductive medium (e.g. Rejuvenate Serum), you can probably reduce the irritation by using a different conductive medium.

Raydiant should not be used while driving, operating machinery, or during activities where involuntary muscle contractions may place the user at unnecessary risk of injury.

If you have a heart condition, you should follow the precautions recommended by a doctor.

Consult a doctor before using Raydiant after a recent surgical procedure.


Side effects

If you experience persistent headaches and/or other painful sensations during or after using Raydiant, stop using the device and consult a doctor.

When should I not use Spotlyte?

Spotlyte should not be used by:

  • Someone under the age of 13.
  • Someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Someone with severe acne.
  • Someone with any skin condition other than mild to moderate acne.
  • Someone who suffers from sunburned skin.
  • Someone with Fitzpatrick skin types V and VI .
  • Someone who is under medical care for diseases involving photosensitivity.
  • Someone receiving photosensitizing medications.
  • Someone with active cancer or cancerous lesion.
  • Someone with a known allergic reaction to plastic. The device contains plastics that come into contact with the skin during use. If in doubt about allergies, contact a healthcare provider before using the device.
  • Someone suffering from light-induced headaches.
  • Someone with a medical history of seizures caused by light.
  • Someone with a history of epilepsy.
  • Someone with phlebitis, thrombophlebitis and varicose veins.

How long do I have a warranty on my product?

Your Lumy device comes with a standard 2-year warranty. Is your tool delivered broken? Please send us an email with some photos of your defective device via support@lumyskincare.nl. You can then return this to us free of charge and we will immediately send a new product your way.
